About Jules Harrington

Jules Harringont (she/they) with black hair, blue eyes, and a nose ring taking a selfie indoors. Wearing a red, short-sleeved shirt with a leopard print pattern, a gold chain necklace, and has tattoos on their arms.

Hello, I'm Jules (she/they), and I'm a pluralistic therapist offering in-person and online counselling in Edinburgh. The process of finding a therapist can be a daunting one, and so I welcome you. There is a myriad of different motivations for engaging in therapy, and no matter what brings you here, you will find a warm, supportive and compassionate space with me.

Before training as a counsellor, I spent twenty years working in bodywork, an experience that afforded me an opportunity to support a diverse range of clients. This background has given me a strong understanding of the relationship between the body and our emotional landscapes. I recognise how feelings can be held physically, how stress and trauma may manifest in the body, and how developing awareness of this connection can support healing and self-understanding.

As part of the LGBTQ+ community, I bring an awareness of the diverse ways identity, relationships, and life experiences can shape our inner worlds. I am committed to offering an inclusive, affirming space for people of all backgrounds, whether or not they identify as LGBTQ+.
